Counseling For Children
Effective counseling for children utilizes different techniques from those used for adolescents and adults.  Since children view their world differently, effective counseling may involve play therapy, art therapy, interactive drama therapy or combinations of these forms.  Select a professional who enjoys and works well with children, has experience counseling this population and is very familiar with their development stages, fears and thinking processes.
