Victims of crime may seek counseling to deal with issues such as: sleeplessness, depression, anxiety or panic attacks, stress, anger, agitated behaviors, feelings of violation, insecurity or feelings of powerlessness following a crime. These conditions often lead to difficulty focusing at work, anxiety when in public places (or at home if crime occurred there), difficulty in personal relationships and personal feelings of insecurity.
