Financial Issues and its affect on families

Families living with the issues related to financial stressors or financial loss experience the same issues as those living under constant stress.  Due to their financial situation, individual members or the entire family may experience depression, anger, feelings of hopelessness, anxiety or panic.  They may be unable to focus on steps toward positive management.  The stressors may also impact the marital relationship, parent-child relationship or be expressed in increased 'acting out behaviors' among siblings.  Families might consider a consultation with creditors, financial institutions or planners regarding the financial arrangements, but oftentimes professional counseling by licensed mental health professionals is also advisable.
