Guilt and Forgiveness Issues

Guilt is one of the most painful emotions in our lives.  It attacks 'who we are' and leads us to diminish ourselves in our own eyes, even if we hide it from others.  Many feel guilty about things or situations which are not even their fault, but cannot seem to forgive themselves, which actually serves as an emotional handicap in productive living.  Guilt is not a natural emotion; it is learned and is quite unnecessary for us to live orderly, appropriate lives.  We end the pain caused by guilt by learning how to forgive ourselves.  Confidential therapy can help us be free of these painful feeling and stop punishing ourselves for behaviors of the past.
